– How this and other novel ideas have everything to do with us’: UNA/Bangor University Seminar

According to Nikil Seth, the UN’s Director of Sustainability “what Wales is doing today, the world will be doing tomorrow”. He is referring to the Well-being of Future Generations (Wales) Act 2015.  In this meeting Dr Kate Hamilton from the Office of the Future Generations Commissioner will explain the Act and what it means for the people of Wales now and for the future.

An Act, however, is only a starting point. Bangor University is exploring ways of using the framework of the Well-being of Future Generations Act in practical ways and working with community initiatives to make a difference.  Join us to find out what’s going on and be prepared to join in!

Free event open to all.
