The Sustainability Lab will once again be out and about at Bangor Science Festival at “Hidden Worlds“, the flagship event of Bangor Science Festival, with our “Plastic Oceans” activities in partnership with Ocean Sciences students.

As well as our activities, Mae merch yn cael ei synnu gan arbrawf gwyddonol :: A girl is amazed by a science experimentthe laboratories will be teeming with activities as part of the hands-on science day.

The research aquaria will also be open and visitors will also be able to hold and touch reptiles and sea creatures.

Prepare to be amazed by our natural history museum, science activities and live animals.

Live flash bang chemistry shows will be at at 11:30am and 1:30pm.

Stevie Scanlan from the College of Physical and Applied Sciences at Bangor and one of the event co-ordinators said:

Our aim in establishing the Bangor Science Festival eight years ago was to showcase the world-leading scientific research being carried out here in Bangor. We’re pleased to be the Bangor hub for British Science Week, and to work with our colleagues here in Bangor and beyond to deliver yet another action–packed week of activities.”

Gŵyl Wyddoniaeth Bangor Science FestivalThe festival runs from 10-18 March 2018, and welcomes everyone to explore and discuss science through talks, hands-on activities, exhibitions and demonstrations at its FREE events.
