Work party at Treborth Botanic Garden
By Jess Mullan, Student Opportunities Coordinator (Societies)
In early October, Muhammad and I went along to the STAG and Forestry Society work party at Treborth Botanic Garden.
We had a brilliant day joining in with propagation, pulling out invasive species and woodland management. It was great to tour the garden and see how much hard work goes into making the gardens so beautiful.
The students work alongside the friends of Treborth volunteers, and Natalie, the Treborth Botanic Garden’s curator. It’s so nice to see staff members, students and members of the public all working together to achieve a common goal.
